Questions about this course
People whose technical work is good but whose ideas keep losing the room: engineers presenting to non-technical stakeholders, analysts whose reports go unread, anyone recently promoted into a role where writing and speaking now matter more than doing.
Partly, but the larger share is written communication, because that is where most professional work actually happens. Emails that get replies, documents people finish, updates that pre-empt questions. Presentation skills are covered, but they are not the whole course.
Yes, and that is where participants report the fastest change. Running a meeting so it ends with a decision, disagreeing without causing offence, and writing a follow-up that holds people to what was agreed are all direct, practised modules.
Yes, necessarily. You cannot learn to present by watching someone present. Sessions involve exercises, feedback on your own writing, and practice in front of the group, which is uncomfortable for a week and then stops being uncomfortable.
A one-day workshop gives you a framework you forget by Friday. This runs across weeks with practice between sessions and feedback on your own real emails and presentations, which is the only way habits actually change. It is more work and it lasts.
Working fluency is enough. The course improves clarity and structure rather than accent or vocabulary, and several modules specifically help people who think in one language and write in another. Nobody is corrected for how they sound.
